Saturday 23rd July saw the first fire in 61264 since November 2014.
By the end of the day the safety valves had been set, brakes, injectors and a few other things were checked to make sure they still work.
The regulator passes slightly so the dome cover will be removed, it will all be checked out and steamed again before the boiler inspector arrives on Thursday.
In the meantime the NYMR will set the piston valve timing and these can be refitted to the loco.
