Saturday 12th October 2024 is confirmed as the date for the next AGM of the Thompson B1 Locomotive Trust, and of Thompson B1 Locomotive Ltd.

This year, the AGM(s) will take place at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre, Ruddington, courtesy of the Nottingham Society of Model and Experimental Engineers (NSMEE) who have kindly allowed us to use their clubroom for the purposes.

As a bonus:

You will have the opportunity to ride in the Lounge Car attached to a steam-hauled service on the Great Central Railway (South) between Loughborough Central, Leicester North and return, with complimentary tea and coffee.

You will be able to get ‘up close’ with 1264 at Ruddington, and see progress with the overhaul.

A buffet lunch will be provided.

Transport between Ruddington and Loughborough (and back) will be provided, hopefully in a vintage bus.

Exact arrangements for the day will be confirmed nearer the time.

The full AGM ‘document pack’ including annual report, accounts etc will be sent out to members/shareholders along with a Newsletter at the beginning of September.
