WANTED (please!)

The B1 Trust regularly runs a sales stand at railway events with which it is associated. The sales stand is a valuable source of income for the loco, and you’d be surprised what sells working simply on the ‘make us an offer’ principle! The stuff we sell is generally donated to us so anything we sell is PURE PROFIT for the loco. So, can you help by donating any of the following?

  • Videos
  • DVDs
  • Books
  • Magazine

Items of a railway / transport / military theme are particularly sought after.

Also received gratefully is:

  • Model railway equipment
  • Railwayana
  • Tools
  • Car-boot sale type items of reasonable worth (e.g. old record players, stereos, TVs).

Furthermore, we would like to hear from you if you have good quality photos of the loco in preservation or pre-preservation.

Please contact webmaster@thompsonb1.org if you would like to make a donation and the necessary arrangements will be made. Or feel free just to pop by at Barrow Hill and leave it in the 'B1 corner' or with the museum staff.
